Just hasn't found it's way to Pennsylvania yet so I thought I would bring a bit of summer to you!
I used Flourishes On the Porch stamps and Offray sheer ribbon for the challenge.
I have to say I am loving coloring like a kid this week! So fun! Pull up a chair and join me:)(
My second card for today is for the CAS(E) sketch #30 challenge as well as the SCS Flybabies monthly challenge. The flybabies challenge was to make a card for a child.
This card is really unusual for me. I made it without stamping a thing. I received this paper in a card kit swap and just thought it was to cute not to use as a focal point.
Thanks for popping in, and have a great weekend!
Very cute cards! Love the bright colors on the bird one!
ReplyDeletegreat card and it looks stamped so that is cool way to do it.
ReplyDeleteAre you freakin' kidding me about Summer not finding it's way to PA yet? It was H.O.T as blazes out today!
ReplyDeleteAnd wow... no stamping on a project? That is amazing... but it looks great! I also love that wicker chair in your first card. They llok terrific!
These are so cheery! I love your coloring on the first one, and the ribbon is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful coloring on your first card! Wonderful color combo and ribbon! Your second card is terrific using the DP! Sometimes the perfect thing to do is just let the DP do all the talking! Great cards!
ReplyDeleteVery cute combo of papers on your second card and the coloring on your first is awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe wicker chair is one of my all time favourite Flourishes stamps! I LOVE it! Such a wonderful inviting summer feel. Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteYour Porch scene has me swooning...I wish I had that chair to curl up in...our deck rails are still off so not much lounging there! And your CAS is adorable, JOyce!
ReplyDeleteGreat cards. I especially like the bright colors on the 2nd one.
