Mod Squad Challenge has given me the blues!

Hello everyone!

I should be actually blogging my room organization this month. I have been working on getting things in order for the start of Dare To Get Dirty at Split Coast Stampers.  If you like making cards and love lots of challenges that is the place to be starting this Saturday August 2nd.  We are talking 5-8 challenges every day and some awesome prizes.  Stop on over and Split Coast and join the fan club to play along.

This weeks challenge on the Mod Squad blog  has given me the blues.  The challenge is to use blue and brown that is. I stamped on GKD warm cocoa with blue ink using the beautiful Heart Blooms stamp and sentiment.  Then added blue buttons for a bit of dimension.

Thanks for the fun challenge Lee:)
And thanks for stopping by today:)

Your so Sweet!

And yes I'm talking about YOU!

I was thinking about this challenge going to bed last night.
The challenge is from the Mod Squad Challenge blog.
The challenge was to use black, white and kraft on your project and the added twist was to use fruit.
The colors weren't an issue but the fruit was. I don't have much in the line of fruit to choose from.
Then I remembered this cute little cherry set.  Perfect for this time of year and this challenge.

Enablers list.
Patterned Paper- Studio Calico
Cardstock- GinaK
Stamps- PTI
Kraft cord- May Arts
Kraft Twine- PTI
Ribbon- Stamp Simply
White Pen- Signo
Embossing Folder- Tim Holtz

TCP Tuesday sketch.

I've been not so patiently waiting for things to get back to some resemblance of normal around here. It's really crazy how one little kidney stone can throw things off your normal routine. And trust me I'm a routine person! So when my routin wasn't possible my craft time slipped away. So I finally put it back. I decided it was time so I took 1⃣5⃣ minutes a day and just started by making my craft room look presentable again, you know, into the kind of pace that you want to spend time in. And it happened, by the end of the week I made my first card in 6 months! Yay me!

I used the a TCP Tuesday challenge. This weeks challenge was a pretty sketch. You have plenty of time to play along, so come join me!

And there you have it. Let's hope this starts a trend.  I truly believe in being creative every day!

Enjoy your day!
