PTI Princess Banner Challenge/LCOM final challenge

I used the cricut and die cut the angels and Peace letters.  Then tied them with tule and added some paint and gliter to give dimension to the angels.
It's been a slow blogging the past weeks as the holiday festivities took over.  And this week I've decided to take a break from paper and do a sewing project.  I've started piecing a scarf.  I love how it's turning out and will be back with the finished product hopefully before vacation.

Then the second week of January I will be heading to sunny Florida with my daughter.  I can't wait for the warmer weather.  Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll get back to posting much more after the holidays.

I hope your Christmas was full of joy and Happy New Year!

Oh Happy Day!

Yesterday afternoon I had this kind of odd message from Dena whom is the community coordinator at Webster's Pages.  She asked for my phone number, which I was more then happy to share.  Thinking there may have been an issue with my order.  So I sent her my number and shortly after she called.  (I love being able to put a voice to a name, and her's is so sweet!)  Anyway, she asked me if I would Guest DT for February!  I'm drop dead, jumping up and down, beaming with excitement!

Not only is it Webster's Pages, the most absolute drop dead gorgeous! Webster's now has STAMPS and digi elements that are so easy to use but I will also get to work with their brand new mid-winter release.  You can see how GORGEOUS it is Webster's Pages Blog where there are a few samples up.  This line will be available for purchase for Christmas! (and ships January 3rd!)

Thanks for letting me share my excitement!

So last week....

I shared with you some of the fun projects from Webster's Pages blog challenge, but I didn't show you them all.  This weekend I had a cookie party and to decorate I used all the pink Webster's papers I could find.  I don't think I've ever seen prettier snowflakes!  It all started with the fabulous recipe box I shared with you yesterday.....
Then I added some vintage printed recipe cards that I embellished with the new Webster's Digi lines.  Gorgeous!  I didn't stop there, this cute dress form needed in on the excitement of the holidays so I dressed her up with a pretty Websters apron and lovely bloom.

Could we stop there.....of course not........it isn't a party with out favors!
and you can't eat without pretty embellished napkins!
A snowflake scented candle (I know, I didn't know they had a scent either, but this one is really pleasing!)
and finally a few place cards for each kind of cookie we were making.

(this is Webster's digi btw!)
The table scape before cookies...
and the table after cookies!

We made 9 different kinds, and one kind of gluten free.

Thanks for stopping by and sharing in all my Holiday fun!
Merry Christmas!

Deck the Halls.....

Welcome to the Fantaublous Cricut Deck the HallsBlog Crawl!  We wanted to share with you some fun ways to Deck Your Halls for the Holidays.  We keep our holidays very traditional and one of the things my guests leave with is a bag of homemade goodies.  This year I hosted a cookie party for my family and friends where we spent an afternoon of baking cookies and sharing some holiday cheer!  Each guest left with a ton of cookies and I had each guest write their recipe on one of these cards to keep in my matching recipe box.  The cookies looked so beautiful all set out on the table with the name tags and recipes at each plate.  I didn't have to do much decorating for this party as the cookies took center stage.

Happy December!

Let the holiday festivities begin.  I get so excited this time of year.  I love all the Christmas glitter and glam but also love the simple things.  Like putting up the tree, snowmen, hot cocoa and of course all the craft inspiration that is just over flowing this time of year.

I'm going to put down my vampire books (ok may just a chaper a day!) and switch into full Christmas mode.  I have plans for a very simple Christmas this year.  All my gift's are purchased except my husband, and he is so hard I have no idea what to get.  I plan on hosting a Christmas cooking swap where the girls can just get together and bake our favorite cookies and eat pizza drink wine.  And just relax and enjoy the season.

I'm exited to be featured on Etsy treasures today. Today's treasure is all about gift wrapping so be sure to check it out here.  And this is my item.

I did get crafty already this week and made a mini album so I can just add a daily picture and have our December memories all in one place.

Thanks for stopping by and Merry Christmas!

Today's Etsy Update

I was so excited, my gift bag kit was featured in the Etsy treasury yesterday.
You can see the treasury HERE, it's fully of pretty blue snowflake stuff!

and today I finally got to play with the Papertrey Ink holiday fillers and made this cute little package of hot cocoa tags.  My inspiration was simple, I walked out to the mailbox and there were snow flurries!

Thanks for stopping by and have a nice cup of cocoa with lots of marshmellows and enjoy the beginning of colder weather.

BoBunny Sketch and Easy Air Brush Techinque

I made this lo for this weeks BoBunny challenge.
Using this sketch from BoBunny as well.
and finally I completed my lo with a technique challenge for LCOM.  My technique is using an airbrush to match the color of your flowers to your lo.
First choose the copic colors that will match the colors in your lo.  For this lo I chose shades of purple.

Then I simple sprayed with the lighter color for some highlights that will show through the lighter areas of darker color.
If you don't have a copic airbrush or markers you can color your flowers with any markers.
I always keep a pack of all white flowers on hand in case I can't match any flowers I always have something I can create.

Then just layer your flowers and add to your lo.

Thanks for stopping by:)

Fantabulous Cricut **Challenge Me Monday**

My friend Tracy's Dad recently had surger so I used today's challenge to make his card.  The challeng was to make a card for someone who is sick or not feeling well.  I use the Stamped cartridge and Bobunny papers.

Today's Etsy Update

I've added some fabulous goodies to my Etsy shop today!

First I added some cute little bags that I package all of my card kits in.  They are perfect for your chunky cards or to use as little gift bags.  I picked up a huge box of them so there are plenty to share.

Kraft Paper Bags

Next I added some cute little clothes pins.  Perfect for crafts off all kinds.
Have you tried glimmer misting your clothes pins yet?
It's pure sweetness!
And finally I added a card kit made with the new Webster's Pages Waiting for Santa line.

This is the sample paper bag that the kit is packaged in.

Keisha's and Johny's Wedding

I was asked to help with some of the prep for the wedding festivities.  So today we finished up the favors, last night I made her 2 bags.  One for the bridal dance and one to keep her slippers, makeup and all the extras you need and don't have a place for them.  She was thrilled and I was happy to make her day a little more special.

Container for cards, and filled with all the fun little table favors.

Bag for the bridal dance.

Inside of bags are lined with her wedding color.

Bag for whatever she needs to carry on her special day.
I have to say this is my favorite.
And the collection.

I'm so proud of myself for being able to make those bags in one evening and they bost cost less then $6.  What a bargain!  OK, so I'm a little proud of myself!
