Outta This Funk Blog Hop

On April 25th one of my favorite fun scrappy sites is having a blog hop. So thought I would start thinking about what to do in preparation for my post. Recently I joined my first circle journal swap. I started my journal and wanted to share my journal and thoughts and pics of the process and project with all of you.

First, you need to have a group of scrappers willing to commit to joining the swap, for this swap there are 6 artists. Each artist is responsible for completing a lo in each jounal and mailing back out by the 15th of each month.

To start your journal you need to pick a theme for your jounal. Some are doing inspiration and friendship. I have chosen to do a "life lessons learned" journal.

I chose a Maya Road chipboard album as my base, did an introductory lo in the first page and the second page is set for an artists sign in page.

You'll have to check back in 5 months to see the finished product.

Ann-Marie wanted to see my haircut so here is my self photo. LOL

American Idol Week Update

I can't believe I haven't updated in so long. Today is the day...I'm going to get caught on everything, or at least try.

American Idol Week 5 LO, yup you guess it....Twilight. The movie is good (the actor that plays Edward did an amazing job)and I just loved the fact that he actually played Bella's Lullaby. So that is where I got my inspiration, and it carried me throught to week 5 of the contest. Woohoo!

I spent the last week or so reading the Twilight Series. I don't think I remember most of it, so will just have to reread when I need something to do.
