These are my rings. I was thinking of what to add everyday and just love my rings. This is my engagement, wedding band and anniversary band.

And this is Ashlyn at the dinner table. I thought I taught her better! LOL We had crabcakes and salad for dinner and we were making fun of her for putting french salad dressing on her crab cake. She is a sauce freak, she eats everything with sauce. This somehow led to her putting her plastic ware in her ears. Crazy girl!

Now how scary is this?!?!? Ashlyn and Ed were being silly so this is my POTD. Ashlyn was hiding behind Ed's chair with her hair on Ed's head so it looks like he has long hair. It was so funny I had to get a pic.

I had so much fun with my pic of the day, as a matter of fact will all my pics plus pics from the holidays. I made a SD card for my Wii photo chanel. Now I have a 50" digital frame for my photos. All I have to do is update with my favorite photos and then when it's party time I'll have a slide show ready to go.

It's a snowday!!!!
or should I say ice. We have a ice storm today and this is a pic of my front
porch. There is like 3 inches of ice on everything and it's still coming down.

Ashlyn got a Beta fish yesterday. It is supposed to be going to her friends house but I guess we will see how long it is here, or how long it lives.

Project 365 Week One

I took more than the 6 photos this week, once you get started it's hard to stop taking pics. Thank God for digital cameras. I also sent my first week photos off to snapfish to print, once I get the actual album I'll print myself daily and hopefully learn to use PS7 so I can enhanse them and add some overlays. I really want to learn how to do this.

January 2, 2009 Santa brought Ed a new Wii Game for Christmas, he is so funny to watch play I just had to take a picture.










January 1, 2009 I had planned on spending the day in my PJ's and doing a Cyber Crop with some gals at Creativexpress, but I ended up with 9 unexpected guests to watch the football game. I stayed in my PJ's anyway so had to take a pic of us playing cards.



December 31, 2008This is a picture of Ashlyn sleeping in until noon, she had been complaining this will be the only day of her entire vacation that she could sleep in.

Photo Organization and storage

I had this great idea for the new year to organize and scrap many of my photos that are just in boxes. However, when we attempted to organize and label the photos we gave up after about 4 hours. So on to plan B....I'm just going to choose a few pics a week from the boxes and scrap the. Hopefully the task will be a bit less daunting that way.

First Your Story Book

I wanted to share my observations about the Yourstory personal electric binder by Provocraft. Santa was very good to me this year and brought me one. Let me start by saying that this book was made for the 2 year old in it, so I'm sure she will add her own embellishments.

The good...
I made this book using the kit that came with the binder. The kit contains a black 8X8 cover and matching pages. There are flat sticker letters and embellishments (I really hate flat stickers and disgarded the remaining) also included. I was able to complete the book using only the kit, mat paper and bling for the flowers in just one evening.

Once I had the pages assembled I binded the book, it took 2 attempts to make sure all the pages were well binded. It seems if any embellishments were to close to the edge it didn't bind that area well.

The bad.....
The covers are very thin and you can only use a minimal amount of pages, depending on how think the paper is and your embellishment style.

I didn't use alot of embellishments for fear of them interfering with binding. I did do one page with ribbon to see how it would work. This was the only page that didn't bind with the first binding attempt.

The cover selection is very limited, although you can alter the covers to make them more pleasing to your taste. A stampable cover would be great.
