This is a special week to show encouragement and support for our family and friends that have been impacted by breast cancer. We will have a new challenge each day for the week to kick off the month of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Hopefully you've all had a chance to see the new “Fight Like A Girl” stamp set and patterned paper pack. Gina K. Designs will be making a donation to the American Cancer Society with every purchase of the stamp set & Patterned Paper pack till Oct. 31st. To pick up yours click Here.
Supporting those who are currently fighting or have fought in any way is what the awareness is all about! Sometimes just a little encouragement or smile can make a huge difference. So if you can, send your card along to someone who could use a lift!
It's crazy to hear the statistics about cancer. Did you know breast cancer alone will be detected in one in 8 women. Imagine the statistics if we add all the other kinds of cancers. It's just absolutely scary!
So my challenge is dedicated to those I spend several hours a week with at the Elysburg, PA cancer center. Luckily I go for just iron and vitamin infusions, but I get to see the faces of cancer every time I go. We often take our puppy for a visit, just to bring along a happy smile.
My Challenge is: Use the following sketch sketch
And this is my card.
I used Gina K Designs Pure Luxury Card Stock in
Kraft, White and Innocent Pink.
Patterned Papers from the paper pack
Fight Like A Girl Paper & the Stamp Set.
Gina K twine in black onyx
and Spectrum Noir markers
Thank You all for joining us at GinaK Designs to help raise awareness!
Remember to use the Tag: STVSOC14JOYCEC and post your project in the StampTV gallery.
on your card so I can see it in my Sketch Gallery. :)
One winner will be randomly selected from the StampTV sketch gallery for a GinaK prize pack
As with all our challenges anyone may play along with any images. However only the entries that use Gina K Designs images will be eligible for prizes on StampTV. Each host/hostess will choose his/her favorite to win the prize for that challenge.
