Hey blog friends!

Hope your enjoying the last weeks of summer.  I gotta say it's crazy cool here for this time of year.  But I love the fall so I'm not complaining.

Today I made a card for the Mod Squad challenge blog.  The challenge is to make a Masculine Birthday card.

I made this CAS card using GKD paper and stamps.  I stamped the frame from GKD Poster Board with GKD powder blue ink (what doesn't say masculine like powder blue, even for big boys;) and the sentiment with Momento Tuxedo black.  I then fussy cut the frame.  For the card front I stamped the circles and lines from Pretty Patterns.  Then popped the sentiment and added a few blue pearls for the finish.

And there you have it a masculine birthday card.  Something I rarely make, so it was a definite challenge for me!

  1. Both turned out great! I am the same...I do not have much to make a "manly" card. :-)
