Papertrey Ink Anniversary

I had to laugh when this challenge was to use a stamp set that hasn't been inked yet or has yet to see much ink, which is exactly what I did yesterday so I used it again today for this challenge.

Patertrey Ink Anniversary Celebration!

Today I made a tag for a gift bag for THIS challenge celebrating the Papertrey Ink 8th Anniversary. 

I like to keep both white and kraft bags on hand for any celebration gift packaging. This happens to be a gift for a scrappy friend. 

I hope she finds joy in the crafting goodies found inside the bag.

Papertrey Ink Anniversary Celebration day 2!

I'm back with my second post for today. Woohoo!  I just love the month of February.  Not only do I get to celebrate my birthday it's also Papertrey Inks 8th Birthday so from the 5th to the 15th there is all kinds of fun things happening to on their blog.  Today's challenge was to welcome back Maille Belles by using one of her projects on her blog for inspiration. I could spend hours just looking at all her beautiful cards. I chose this card. I know this stamp set hasn't been used much so I wanted to pull it out.  I made just a few changes.  I changed the colors, and I also trimmed the panel and popped it up just to add some dimension.

It's a Snowman Kinda Day!

Here on in PA along with most of  the North East we are gearing up for a blizzard.  I love a fresh clean snow fall and it doesn't matter how much or how little there is. 

I love seeing all the snowmen popping up in yards across the area this past week.  They are so cute! And like snowflakes they are each a little different.  How can you not love that!

 

So for my challenge this week over at Splitcoast Stampers I challenged everyone to use snowmen as their inspiration.  If you would like to come and play along stop by HERE for more details. Here is what I came up with.  Just a little clean and simple note card with no sentiment so it could be used all winter long.  This one happens to be going out to New Jersey to a friend who is also gearing up for some snow. 

 

 

I've been a bad blogger and really have skimped on getting my cards uploaded here. So here is last weeks CAS challenge card as well.  The challenge was to consider your New Year's resolution.  My resolution is to spend time with friends and family and to get more exercise.

Hello, hope your New Year is starting off awesome!  I have crafted something every day this year! My goal is to do something creative everyday for the next 100 days!  Come on over to Split Coast Stampers and going the fun!

I have joined a couple of swaps to start off the new year as well.  I'm having fun shopping the secret cupid swap, doing a card kit a month and making 6 girl friends cards this month.  So fun!

Oh Deer, Christmas 2014 tag 3

I know only tag three and Christmas is only 13 days away!  But I tend to not stress over the holidays and enjoy, so it's all good.  I made todays tag inspired by the Ellen Hutson 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist Challenge tag for day 2. 

I didn't have a stencil so used a snowflake die cut to make one to add texture to the deer.  I love these colors together.

The Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!
