Stamp A Faire Welcome 2014

Hi everyone and welcome to SAF 2014. If you don't know what SAF is visit the Papertrey Ink Blog for all the details and join me in scrapping the weekend away!  Woohooo!

We are all set to begin.  Jaec has his favorite squeaky toy ready to entertain himself and I have all my favorite toys and plan on entertaining myself as well!

We call that his Whale mating call.  He is so funny.

And here I am reading all the details one more time to make sure I have everything ready for all the challenges tomorrow.

And lastly, here is a quick video tour of my craft room.

I forgot to have my husband take a good still photo so I'll add a selphie and post a good one tomorrow.

And here is a tour of my messy craft room!

Have fun everyone! And see you on the forums!

Down and Dirty Card Post 7

How about a couple of square cards today.

Just a Note

This little mason jar is one of my favorite stamp sets.  I just love how many different things that go in it, or on it or work with it.

Molly-Moo!

I made this card in honor of a friend on SCS.  The little stamp just reminded me of her.
I guess I should tell you her SCS screen name is MollyMoo.
The red card stock is embossed with cherries that matches the patterned paper perfectly.

See you soon:)

Down and Dirty Card Post #4

Hi everyone.  TGIF!  Any thing fun planned for the weekend?
I'm hoping to get a break from the rain so we can take the top off the jeep and go for a ride.
Of course I have a feeling that we may be doing corn this weekend.
We will see how much is ready.

I have 2 cards to share today that are from VSN at SCS.
"Virtual Stamp Night and Split Coast Stampers"
There was a mini VSN this past weekend but the big VSN is September 7-8th.

Indy fun! (With no race cars)

MHi all, I'm in the beautiful state of Indiana staying just outside of the city for a week.  I thought I would try to blog today using the blogger app. I've not had much success in the past so bare with me if I have to fix links when I get home.

It was a long drive to get here, almost 10 hours. My job was easy, all I did was ride, read and snack. And when I say snack I mean I ate everything I could get my hands on! Then I felt like crap and crashed as soon as I hit the hotel room. Well, right after a few minutes in the jacuzzi anyway.

I was most excited for my first day here. This was my first opportunity to meet one of my Split Coast Stamper friends.  We had such a fun day. She picked me up at the hotel for our little adventure.  We started by shopping at Hobby Lobby, then picked up her adorable children for lunch at Applebee's ( it wasn't the boys first choice, but Mom ruled and they survived an adult restaurant! Lol)

Then we went back to Beth's and spent a little time in her beautiful home playing with paper. She is a Stampin Up rep and has stamping get togethers, if you are looking for a rep I highly recommend her! She has stamping get togethers, that I hope to visit this week.

This is Beth and I saying goodbye at the hotel, isn't she the cutest:) love her smile!

That evening we went to downtown Indy for dinner. I was totally expecting New York or Philly kind of grungy city ( don't get me wrong, love them) but Indy is so clean and really pretty.  Parking is plentiful and right on the street. And cheap! We dined at Barcelona Tapas.  I would highly recommend if you get the opportunity. The food was yummy and the white sangria yummier!

Then we walked to subzero. Which is a nitrogen ice cream shop. Very yummy stuff! And fun to watch your ice cream being made right in front of you. This is my beautiful daughter waiting on her cookie dough twin ice cream.  It was yummy!

That concluded our day.  Lots of fun!  Can't wait to head back out tonight to check out more of the area.

Today I'm in the hotel and again playing with paper.  I made this card using the Mojo Monday sketch # 301.

I made this card using Products from a PTI card kit swap. Thanks Carrie for the beautiful kit!

Have a great day! And thanks for stopping by!
