What a month or so....
Thanks for hanging in there with me through vacation, Ashlyn's surgery, prom, Dad's retirement party and soon to be graduation and graduation party. Then I hope to be back to scrapping something daily. My studio is very lonely but I'm loading up on photos to keep me busy for the next year! After all creating the moments to remember is what preserving our memories in a scrapbook is all about.
My Dad's retirement party was the best. I cried like a baby, and he got the best retirement gift ever. His orange tractor sure was better than any gold watch and he will get so much use out of it. He has never owned a new tractor and has wanted one forever.
Then Ashlyn looked just beautiful for prom. My baby has grown into a beautiful, smart, loving young woman and I am so proud of her!

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #2
Some friend are joining me this weekend for a scrappy weekend. Yeah! I can't wait so I thought I would make some cute little take homes for them. If you see them don't tell!
For todays Fantabulous Cricut challenge I made one of the cute little PTI altered note pads. I just love them for making all kinds of lists. You can find many more examples in the PTI gallery. They are yummy! I also wanted to use a cartridge that we wouldn't usually thing of for spring. But Winter Wonderland has this cute little bunny that just says spring to me. Isn't he just the cutest!

Tonights PTI Blog Hop
Since we just finished up our 3rd Anniversary Festivities, we thought we would do something extra
special for this month's Blog Hop! Design Team Appreciation Day! Your challenge is to go through the
Design Team gallery or any of the Design Team Members' blogs and find a project that is especially
inspirational to you! Then recreate the project with your own spin, making it unique! Be sure to share a
link and photo of the original project that inspired you! And you can also use this opportunity to thank
the team for all their contributions this past year! I know they inspire ME daily and I never seem to thank
them enough! We look forward to seeing your projects!
My inspiration came from the idea of giving some crafty goodness to some of my friend for their Birthdays this month. Dawn McVey had a cute idea to give little buttons made into match packs as well as I loved the coloring of her flowers so make sure to stop by her blog and leave her some love.
A few years ago I made an advent box with match boxes and thought it would be fun to turn it into an embellishment center for some pre threaded buttons. I made it much smaller with only 8 match boxes, but it turned out way cute!
