If your here your stuck with me for another one of my challenge cards.
I was saw drawn to this stamp set. I have always loved succulents not sure why, but they tend to be one of the only things I can grow. Succulents and Orchids seem to do well for me.
Anything else in my house just dies.
I'm combining the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge this week to make your own background and the MFT Color Challenge #41 Green.
I started by stamping all random images for the MFT Succulents set. I love that the set has this little heart.
Then I die cut it with the MFT rectangle stitched die.
I used water color pencils to color the cactus and pot, and blended with Gamasol.
The sentiment is stamped on an MFT washi die.
Thanks so much for visiting:)

I'm glad to the "stuck with you." Love your cute card. Pretty paper and pretty coloring. I need to start working with my pencils again. Hugs, Maggie
ReplyDeleteHa, ha! I hear you on the topic of succulents! I have one cactus that I haven't killed yet (emphasis on YET) and that is the extent of my houseplants! But I really love this card and think the sentiment is so witty! And you created a really clever background for it, too. It looked so pro that I thought it was patterned paper! Excellent work all the way around on this card and I'm so glad you shared your skills with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteCute card and sentiment! Happy St. Paddy's Day
ReplyDeleteI don't consider myself stuck with you. Stick by you, yes. Glad we're friends. And the card is cute! Hugs Kel
