I am combining a couple of challenges today.
First, the CASology challenge.
And Second, This weeks Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.
This Weeks Simon Says Stamp challenge is Anything Goes!
For this challenge I thought I thought I would make a card for a neighbor who is going through a touch time, and has been dealing with the effects of Cancer for a few years. I thought I would just drop her a note to let her know I am thinking of her.
I once again wanted to make a card that was easy to mail and the CASology challenge prompt gave me the perfect jumping off point.
I started by first using the Papertrey Ink stencil from the Color Pop kit. Then added some extra dimension to the sponged flowers with the coordinating stamps. I finished with a sentiment from MFT.

Thanks for stopping by, it's so nice to hear from you!
Such a pretty card, Joyce. Love your stencilled images. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card Joyce! You starting playing with the new Color Pop kit pretty quick! Thanks for joining us at CASology this week!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I really like your vertical band of flowers with the pierced edge. I've just used my stencils on the printed kit paper - now you're making me want to try them with plain white.
ReplyDeleteI love these soft colors, Joyce, and all the white space! Thank you for sharing this with us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Joyce. Love the flower border and colors. So glad to see you stamping and blogging again.
ReplyDeleteThe soft looking flowers are perfect for a 'thinking of you' card!
