This month has been awesome guest designing with the fabulous kit from Birds of a Feather. I've had so much fun playing with this fabulous kit. There is only one kit left so if you are at all considering you need to jump on it NOW!
For this page I actually used the paint from the kit and drew a heart, around the heart I chose some of my favorite tags, then embellished. My husband loves to take selfie photos of us when we are on vacation.
For my second project I made my husband a framed collage for Valentines Day.
I played along with the sketch challenge for the Love Birds crop and came up with this cute page.
For one last tip I wanted to share how to combine pocket page scrap booking
right along with my 12 X 12 pages.
I don't think there is a right or wrong way to scrap. I find it more about getting photos into albums in a creative way that makes you happy. So be free to experiment with your art and make sure to share all your fabulous projects with us in the Birds of a Feather Gallery!
And finally I sent Hershey Bars to my Scrappy PenPals for Valentines Day.
Of course it still hasn't arrived in Singapore, but I think she will be in for a treat when it does!
I wonder if they have Hershey chocolate in Singapore? I'll have to ask in my next letter.
Can you tell I had an awesome time guest designing this month?!
Thanks so much for letting me share this month with you!
And thanks so much for stopping by!
Gorgeous projects Joyce! You did so good with that kit...TFS!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, you made some fabulous projects with the kit! I really love your first page, it's so unique. Great use of the tags.
ReplyDeleteI saw some great ideas I truly miss scrapping...no reason not to be doing it... thanks for the inspiration...
ReplyDeleteI think you have a great idea of mixing up your 12x12's with pockets scrap pages! Sweet photos and pretty pages! I love your simple but fun way of dressing up a chocolate bar!
ReplyDeleteFabulous work !!
ReplyDeleteTerrific layouts. Love the heart in the first one. That's a great idea. Love how you framed your photo in the second. And I love the idea of a more traditional scrapbook page side by side with a pocket page.
